What is UltraViolet?

UltraViolet is an all-new way to collect, access and enjoy your movies and TV shows in the cloud, so you can watch your collection at any UV service, regardless of where you redeem. Once a movie or TV show has been added to your UltraViolet Collection, you can watch your content online with instant streaming or download to watch it when you have no internet access. Because UltraViolet offers so many viewing options, you have greater freedom to choose where you want to watch - whether it’s on a mobile device, computer, television or tablet.

How does UltraViolet work?

Every time you buy an UltraViolet-enabled movie or TV show, you can add a digital "proof of purchase" to your UltraViolet Collection. By doing this, UltraViolet retailers, streaming services, and UltraViolet-capable devices can confirm your rights to the movie or TV show and enable you to watch your content.

How do I redeem?

The best way to start is by going Foxredeem.com and entering your redemption code from the insert in your Blu-ray or DVD case.

Does Digital HD work with UltraViolet?

Does it cost anything to set up and manage my UltraViolet account?

No. Your UltraViolet account is FREE with your UltraViolet movie & TV show purchases.

Do I need to purchase special equipment to use UltraViolet?

No. You don't need special equipment or additional technology other than an active Internet connection and supported device to enjoy your UltraViolet Collection.

What is the digital cloud?

Digital clouds give you the flexibility to access your collection without having to download a file, manage storage space on your devices, and help keep your collection safe.

What devices can I use to watch my movie or TV show?

Once your movie or TV show is added to your collection, you can stream or download it to your computer (PC or Mac), TV, tablet or smartphone. It is recommended that you have the latest version of Firefox, Internet Explorer, Google Chrome or Safari. You will also need the most recent version of Adobe Flash.

Can I watch my movie or TV show in High Definition?

Each retailer will optimize delivery of the content, so although you have a High Definition right, depending on your internet connection and your playback environment (mobile device, computer, television or tablet) you may receive a lower resolution file.

Will my redeemed rights expire?

Your rights to the movie or TV show you redeemed do not expire.

What are the minimum system requirements to redeem?

What happens if I lose my insert?

If you misplaced or discarded your activation code please contact customer support for assistance.

Where can I find my redemption code?

Your redemption code is located on the insert inside your Blu-ray or DVD case.

What if I get an invalid code error message?

Please verify that you have not previously entered this code on another computer and that you are entering the correct characters. If you have not previously used your activation code and are still receiving an error message, please contact customer support for assistance.

How can I watch my movie or TV show?

You can watch your content online with instant streaming or download to watch it when you have no internet access.
Streaming requires a high-speed internet connection.
